Hedo airport transfers

Hey experienced Hedo people, what's the cheapest transportation to and from the airport to Hedo? We are going this august. Thank you

The bus is the cheapest for a single couple at roughly $40 each way per couple. Usually takes longer because it will stop at multiple resorts and you may have to wait for multiple flights to land so the bus is full before leaving the airport.

A taxi is $70-80 one way (don't forget a tip on top of that) and you can fit 2 couples in the taxi. If you have two couples, a private taxi works out to the same price of roughly $40 per couple each way, but is much faster and you don't have to worry about other travellers seeing you get off the bus at Hedo.

I've done a JUTA walk up in the transportation hall at MBJ - no reservation and $25 one-way. They contract w/multiple operators so sometimes a wait, and other times quickly out the door to fill a seat on a departing bus to Negril that's not full.

They give you a card w/their number if you need to arrange a return trip during your stay. I usually charter a private car for the return as it's speedier, so I can stay at the resort later.

I use Luxurious ( http://luxuriouscaribtoursjamaica.com ) several times. His one way charge for 3 pax is US$55. He is reliable, accommodating to airplane schedule change, provides a drink, has a cell phone option, will stop for shopping or beer or Jerk or g@nja, or …

His car easily handled my 2 large scuba bags, 2 large checked rollers, 2 cabin rollers, 2 personal carryon bags.

I also highly recommend luxuriouscaribtours- see info from Passion4Diving above. Andre and Ricardo are terrific, friendly, safe drivers, and never a wait. Cheaper than a taxi.
