We've been long-time lurkers on this site, so wanted to introduce ourselves as we prepare for our 1st trip to Jamaica in March 2017. This will be our 1st vacation to a nudist resort, so a bit nervous of shedding everything off.

Welcum!!! My advise for the first day, you do not want to waste time on the clothing optional side, although it is beautiful, the party is on the nude side!! Head over to the nude pool (you can wear a sarong or towel) and you can drop it when you get to the nude side or you can wear it till you get to the pool. A lot of people stay covered their first time until they get to the pool. Then find a place to drop your stuff and get in the pool and head to the swim up bar and get a drink. You will then be covered by the water, so it will help you feel less nervous and more covered. People are friendly and chatty there and you will quickly see that is it not a big deal and you will really enjoy yourself and within a drink or two you will feel at home. Happy Hedo Planning

When we were their last febuary when you got to sign where it says no more clothes . They made sure you didn't wear nothen beyond that point . We stayed on prude side and was naked the whole time . Wake up and be naked that's why ur their is to be naked . Put clothes in room and go get a drink and be free .

Before our first trip to a clothing-optional resort (Desire Riviera Maya in our case), a bit over two years ago, we were nervous as heck! Would people point and snicker? Would we be the fattest, oldest, ugliest people in the joint?

When we arrived at the resort and made our way to the room, we got unpacked, then faced up to the big event of going out naked. We were at the moment we had been planning and waiting for! So we took a deep breath, dropped our pants, put on our flip-flops, and stepped through the door and down to the pool.

I'm happy to report that our nervousness lasted for all of about five minutes! We quickly learned several of the great things about the people at these clothing-optional resorts. First, they come in all shapes, sizes, ages, colors, etc., and they are all going about their business, unselfconsciously letting it all hang out, loud and proud. Second, they are not wasting any time judging others, lest they be judged. And third, and most importantly, they are just about the most friendly, outgoing, welcoming people you'd ever want to meet!

So go forth without fear, drop trow when you get to Hedo, and have a great time!
