    Does Hedo have waterskiing?

Two more weeks and we will be back for our 4th trip!

I didn't see water skiing at any of our previous trips - has it been added?

They stopped water skiing at least 5 years ago. Liability issues I believe.

Bummer. Does anyone know where we could grab a few hours on some jet skis?

Jet Skis are banned in Negril, someone was killed while they were swimming in the water. They riders used to buzz the resorts swimming areas up and down the whole beach it was a serious problem.

Wow. Sorry to hear someone lost their life due to recklessness. Thanks for the info.

    waterskiing or jet skis?

I went waterskiing at Hedo in May 2011.
But, no doubt that was a victim of the lawyers too (like the rockwall, waterslide, etc)

That was probably the last year, we never watered skied, the driver used to give us a lift over to Bloody bay if we wanted to go to the Office of Nature or just walk that beach.

Next door, Sandals has water skiing for a fee. You may be able to sign up as a guest and go water skiing.

Jet skis are banned in the 7-mile beach/Bloody Bay area.

I did go water skiing at hedo once, hurt my knee and have not done it again. Had to be carried to the doctors office and had to pay for doctor to come to resort. I was fine but had crutches for a day. Could of been worse. Probably best not to do risky activies on any vacation.
