Completely depends on what is important to you.
I have no issues walking and don't care about a balcony or hot tub.
And to me, the oceanfront really are not worth it. (Especially now that I live oceanview!)
    So.....clothing optional garden for me!

garden view cost alot less then ocean view nude.. we did the oceanview nude and they are really nice room.... we did love it... but we are going with GVR now as we like to add a couple of more days to our trip for the same money... so for us its a no brainer GVR it is... longer at home.

Interesting question....and as other have send, is an individual choice. Our opinion:

We like the garden view nude rooms for the value. We do like the nude side of the resort a bit better. We spend most our time on the nude side and if you have to run back the room, which maybe happens once a day, the room is a bit closer. So we like it for convenience.

Ocean view nude is not worth the cost for us. The view is not that good, and you do not sit in the window looking at the ocean and the beach while in those rooms.

Oddly, we do think the balcony and patio premium rooms can be worth the cost. We stayed in a premium balcony room our last trip, and the room did make our Hedo experience better. The balcony (and patio) is an extra room, and it is covered. It is your own private outdoor space, which is very nice. Also if it rains you have a place where you can go, be outside, and still enjoy the outside. In the future, we will stay in premium balcony rooms. For us, it is worth it.

My honey wants us to not walk far, so we stay OVN to be between dining and the nude pool.

Personally I go for whatever is cheapest since the rooms I really want (the upgraded rooms) are way more. GVR (Garden View Regular) if it is available. It was not this time, so we are going OVR as the cheapest remaining. Strangely, it appears Ocean View Nude can be a worse view than Ocean View Regular with the trees, etc in the way. Just depends on the room. Of course, the rooms with balconies and terraces would be different, but, for example, for the week we are going we were quoted $396/night for OVR vs $700/night for the cheapest room with balcony. Those were group rates, btw - always go with a group if available even if you don't do anything with them.

As others have noted, it just depends on what is important to you. We spend very little time in our room, so we opt for the cheapest room we can get and use the extra money that we save to stay extra nights. We don't mind the walk if our room happens to be at the end, (it is only a 5 minute or less walk to anywhere on the resort you want to go). Sometimes, we get upgraded when we arrive at the resort, sometimes we don't, either way, we are happy.

The first year we did Garden View Nude, the next year Ocean View Nude, since then, we have done Garden View Regular (prude) because we realized the only time we are in the room is to sleep and fuck...and frankly when you're doing either, you're not looking out the window....(well except fucking you may look to see who is watching)....so where your window is, makes no difference. As for anything else, we pack our bag with everything and anything we may need and head to the beach so we don't have to return to the room for anything. Even if you have to go back to your room, the resort isn't HUGE so walking back to the prude side from the nude pool isn't really that bad. In the evening when you're dressed to the 9's in your heels, it is a nicer walk from the clothing optional side. But really it is up to you and what is important.

The extra cost is definitely something to consider but we really enjoy the nude premium jacuzzi room. We love that that the patio is essentially an extra room as David and Qian said and we enjoy being right on the beach where everyone is walking back and forth all day. Makes for some easy socializing with the hedo friends you make for the week. And if you are a bit of an exhibitionist the patio and jacuzzi has its advantages We like having our morning coffee on the patio too. A couple other small things is that the premium jacuzzi room has a keypad for entrance (admittedly not a big deal but it is nice not to have to carry and keep track of the key all day especially if we are getting after some vodka things at the nude pool and things get hazy) and we also get free club mobay, something we would purchase if it were not part of the premium room package
One thing that would get us to stop booking this room is if I had more vacation time available. Two weeks of vacation just sucks. One week gets chewed up with a few one off days and then some surrounding the holidays and then one week goes to hedo. If we had more vacation then we would downgrade room and add more time at hedo for the year. Hope that helps!

We're heading down a week from Saturday and for the 1st time, deciding between Ocean View Nude regular and premium. Our last 3 trips have been OVN premium. The price diff for this 6 night trip is a little over $1k. Can someone confirm if the OVN regular rooms do or don't have the balcony? Are some OVN regular rooms close to the nude pool? The premiums have all been in the 1st 2 buildings near the nude pool and beach which is super convenient since it's where we spend most of our time. TIA for any info and suggestions. Are the regular rooms much less nice than the premium rooms (a relative question for Hedo only)?

We've been twice (third trip this July!), and have only stayed in the ocean view prude rooms. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable, and the walk to the nude side and nude pool isn't far. We enjoy being able to party hard, and escape to the quieter side of the resort when we need to recharge. (we're old tho ) I honestly think that any room at Hedo is probably a good room. (and you probably won't be staying in it much anyways!)

They made the decision easy for us with a last minute $800 discount promotion. OCN Premium as usual.
