Hedo Package prices from Canada

Hi Everyone

Looking at going to Hedo in March. Just curious, what most consider to be a reasonable price for 2 for 7 nights flying from Toronto. Room category is open for debate but really, it isn't overly important.

Suggestions would be appreciated

If you can find $450 Can a night plus air you are doing well. Air will be around $1000. This is based on a group price cheapest room @171 pn add 35% exchange so around $4000 plus. If you can find a package here for your dates.

After ten or so trips, we have found Sunwing for the room pricing and book the air separate for most flexibility on dates. Have got prices as low as 335.00 per night Canadian. We always book the cheapest room, all we need.

Try the usuals...WJ vacations,AC vacations,Expedia, Redtag, etc. This year we used WJ vacations...out of Edmonton for 8 days for 4500. Thought it was reasonable

March is still considered high season, you'll find prices to be really high especially early in the month. The cheaper dates will be later in the month. A good site to compare pricing is tripcentral.ca, they have a grid system where you can see multiple weeks pricing all on one screen. A year ago I would have said you could easily do a package for $2k pp but that just isn't the case now. The US dollar exchange plus a healthy price increase by Hedo has really driven up the cost.

We always book a full package usually through Westjet Vacations so that we get our transfers included. If you book separately you'll have to arrange your transfers yourself which will add about another $150 both ways. You'll want to avoid booking through a group as they price things in US dollars and the exchange rate is huge right now as I'm sure you know. Even the so called Canadian groups still charge in US dollars. Stick to one of the regular Canadian tour companies and you'll get the best deal.

We booked a couple wks ago for Dec 4-11 through Sunwing for $3780 and it has gone down another $30/per since then. It beats any price we saw from WJ or AC by a few hundred person for a 7 day package.

We always pay 130n US return for a private car so 150 each way seem a little high. Unless Cdn cpl meant 150 return . Did free shuttle bus once, never again.

Hey there, can you tell me how to set up a private ride to and from the resort so we dont need to use the bus? Rockys is a private cab or limo service?
