Just and add'l $0.02 here: be VERY CAREFUL of the reflected sun off the water, so make sure that EVERYWHERE that is going to be exposed gets covered regularly, even the soles of your feet if they are going to be facing the sea. I did a lot of sailing in my youth and spent much of the time with my bare feet dangling over the side and had a few (not many thankfully) of sunburned soles.....

Great advise L&I my soles got a little toasted one trip, no fun!! I've heard ladies use a little baby shampoo to remove sunblock before taking care of business

If there's anyone who knows a thing or two about sunscreen and protection, it's us bald guys! The best thing I've found is a product by HeadBlade called HeadShade. Just reading the bottle here, its an SPF40, broad spectrum UVA and UVB, alcohol and paraben free, water resistant for 90 minutes. It's safe to use EVERYWHERE on your body, not JUST your head (the one on your shoulders). I took a bottle to Hedo in January, both of us used it...all over...and it was awesome. Comes in a pump bottle so you don't waste half of it. Great for the naughty bits for the first few days until you can withstand a lower SPF factor. I get mine in Ontario from the Canadian website.

We always pre-tan and apply sunscreen when we leave the room. Now we've learned over the years we usually stay in the nude pool most of the day so we can away with sunscreen from the waist up only unless we have other plans. The pre-tanning is really important or you'll need at least spf 30 maybe even 50 and re-apply a few times. With the pre-tan we can get away with applying once a day. Whatever you do you don't want to get burnt so take whatever precautions necessary to prevent it because sitting in your room nursing a burn would suck ass. There's way too much fun to be had at the nude pool everyday for that shit!

after the sun goes down we found that coconut oil helps moisturize the skin and has great health benefits.

We go to a tanning salon in the weeks leading up to the trip. I found that SPF 30 all over works well. One place to remember is the top of your ass crack. I think that's the only real trouble that I ran into. Also bring some wet naps to wipe your mini me off for your wife. Sun screen tastes horrible. lol

I always use Chapstick with SPF on the equipment. Works great and been told taste great too
