Here is an update from DennyP who is actually in the resort right now:"Hedonism II nude pool, bar, grill, hot tub complex will be closed 12/11-12/23 for some minor upgrades. The nude beach will remain open and there will be additional bar wait staff on hand.The prude side will be nude for the duration. You will be able to walk nude to both bars and the prude grill during that time.There are some minor repairs to the bar; resurfacing of the bar top and some upgrades inside the bar. The grill will be enlarged and include a Texas smoker and will have two cooks. There may be umbrellas in the pool."
I do remodeling for work and it's never easy on anybody .especially haven it go on while ur on vacation . It had to be done sometime. Their is never a good time todo the work . Can't make everybody happy. I look at who cares that they are doing some remodeling . Ur on vacation ur on a beach with a drink in hand and naked . I'll take the remodeling going on if I could have the beach cold drink sun and be naked for a week than this cold ass weather here in nebraska I'd do it . You all enjoy ur vacation

At least they are trying to better the place. Last year I cut my foot badly on a tile in the nude pool. Happy it is being redone. Would it suck to be there during the time period...sure. However it is for the greater good of mankind

You are absolutely right about this being our vacation. But I assure you that if we had known about this renovation we would not have gone at this time or paid full price for the lack of amenities.. I appreciate the resort looking to make things better and I look forward to the changes, but it still does not make up for the lack of communication. We found out about the renovations about 2 weeks prior to our trip.
The nude pool is a main reason people go. If we wanted a clothing optional vacation, we would have chosen a clothing optional resort.
If you are absolutely ok with the nude pool being closed during OUR vacation, why don't you not go to the nude pool the entire time you are on YOUR vacation and tell us how that goes for you.
I know that the construction of the dining room was decided on just weeks before it happened. So when you made your final payment the decision was probably not even made. What about moving your trip or cancelling for a refund?
Refund is not possible. Moving the trip requires changing leave dates, plane tickets, Rocky's, pet sitters...just to name a few things.
Besides people don't go to Hedo for the dining room. The nude pool is one of the main reasons people go. The closing of the dining room is NOT a comparison to closing the nude pool.
Had we known, we would have booked a few days later. Am very disappointed.
We completely understand. We are disappointed too. When do you guys get in?
Luckily the 22nd....but only have 4 days vacation. Is hard to schedule for both of us
We get there next week for 11 days. We will save a spot for you at the Clothing optional pool. too soon? LOL.
If they were cleaver they would prioritize the hot tub....lets faces it.....that is the big loss. It's the only one.
