Hello we will be there from April 10 to April 17 traveling with Sunwing out of Nova Scotia Canada. Has anyone from Canada ever traveled with Sunwing, just wondering about their transport from the airport, does the bus stop at different resorts or just Hedo. thanks

We've used Sunwing several times but not recently as we now prefer Westjet by far. Sunwing is notorious for combining and changing flight times significantly at the last minute if they don't fill a plane. You might find out a week before you travel that the time is changed by twelve hours and you're now stopping at Varadero on the way, stuff like that. That's why we switched to Westjet. Sunwing's ground transportation is no better or worse than anybody else. There's only a few companies running the buses and usually you'll stop once or twice on the way, it's not really a big deal. The stops are only for a few minutes and it shouldn't take more than 90 minutes to get there.

If you're concerned about it you might want to book a private transfer which will cost you about $70 or so each way and get you there in slightly over an hour. My feeling is that the bus is included in the package price and saving half an hour isn't worth the extra cost. If the transfer wasn't included I'd definitely look at a private transfer with somebody like Rocky's.

thank you so much, we travel sunwing quite a bit to cuba from halifax and have had good luck with them so hope this is as good. We will probably just take the sunwing transfer and save the money. thank you for the informatio.
