Hello Everyone

This is Bill and Sue from the Northeast. We are new empty nesters and have been married for over 20 years. We recently realized that we each are looking to expand our horizons. In searching for ways to meet other couples we happened upon this site as well as Bliss Cruises.
We are currently planning on booking the Bliss Celebrity Equinox 2017 as our first experience. We would love to hear from you if you are planning on that cruise, or have booked.

We also welcome any tips you would be willing to share.

It's too bad you're not on the November 2016 Bliss Cruise, because then we could meet you onboard! We were on the 2015 Bliss Cruise, and had a fantastic time.

One tip, Bliss Criuise-wise, is to try to make contact with some of your fellow cruisers in advance. It might make the experience seem a little less intimidating if you have already "pre-met" some people who will be joining you on the cruise. This is just one example of the general advice of being friendly and outgoing on the cruise. It's outside of some people's comfort zone to be willing to strike up a conversation with perfect strangers, but the Bliss Cruise is one crowd where being open, friendly, and engaging is a pretty safe thing to do! Pretty much everybody is there to meet people (and get friendly with some of them), so they will likely be happy to chat with you. So try putting yourself out there- say hello to people on deck, ask to sit with people you don't know at breakfast or lunch, and see if you can't have a dinner date with others each night!
