    Woodcarver...

Is Chris, the woodcarver, still at Hedo? I remember somebody saying a couple of years ago that bringing different supplies for some of the vendors (ie. sandpaper for woodworking) is acceptable and needed. Can anybody shed some light on this, and if so, what kinds of things we could easily get and pack to take with us? We are going in August.... Thanks!

Yes, Chris is still there. He would appreciate sandpaper, food coloring that he uses to color the wood as well as wax paste.

I just spent time with him this afternoon and he needs just about everything after being abandoned by his wife....and he is supporting his kids. He could use any supplies or business sent his way.

Thank you for the information! We'll be happy to help out...Raising kids as a single parent is hard, no matter where you are. Is there anything specific that he needs other than what AnitatheDiva posted above? We'll do what we can! We had him do some work for us on our first trip and we'll be sure to look him up when we get down there in August.

We'll be down in Sept. with some supplies for Christopher. My dad was a woodworker and as we help my mom clean out his workshop we're finding many small things that we would love to donate rather than throw away or garage sale. If anyone is going to Hedo and talks to Christopher ask him what he could use and PM me. Thanks!
