Question For Canadians (or anyone else that can answer)

One of my Friends from the North got me hooked on Bloody Cesar's. In Mexico last spring I started drinking Clamato and beer. At home I use corona, Pacifico, or Miller lite. Anyone mix Clamato and Red Strip when at Hedo? I guess I could always some red strip and try it but figured I would ask the question here first.

I don't think I've seen Clamato behind the bar at Hedo - but I have drank Red Stripe & Tomato juice. They call it a "Red Eye" there.

No clamato in Jamaica. We bring a dozen individual cans if we can find them...or a few litre bottles and once open keep them in the fridge in the room. When other Canadians see our Clamato...we make some instant friends wanting some.

I saw Clamato behind the bar at the beach in March. The Ceasar was invented in Calgary. I believe it is vodka + Clamato with the rim if the glass dipped in celery salt, a dash of Worstershire sauce, maybe a dash of Tabasco sauce, ice and a celery stalk (or my preference is a a stalk of pickled asparagus).

Was it actually bar stock, or something brought down by a guest, as was mentioned earlier. Guest will sometimes bring their own beverages and ask the bar to keep it for them, as needed.

We call beer and tomato juice "Uglies" around here. They don't seem to mix as well and appear almost curdled. Some people swear by them. I prefer to have a few beer and clams to start the day, then change to vodka/7/lime for the rest of the day. I guess we will have to look at bringing our own if we make the trip down.

Canadians do bring it with them, but Hedo did recently also begin bringing in Clamato. It was behind the bar on our last trip (wife drinks this mixture often) and also I noticed it one morning at the buffet where you make your own bloody marry's or whatever.
