Hedo reunion 2016 sandy hook

Ok.... who is going? What is to be expected there? I have a place to sleep from a great friend in our group. (Shout out to the best group kitten and angels ) How much money will I need? And what else do I need to know?

What's this about? Calling for a "Hedo Reunion"? Fun idea. Is it at Gunnison Beach, the nude beach in New Jersey? We're not aware of any Hedo reunion but could be convinced to go if the day was open and the weather great! Do tell...?

How is Sandy Hook this year? I haven't had the chance to go so far. Was heading there tomorrow but it looks like weather is going to be terrible.

August 26 to 28 this year will be the 19th Annual Sandy Hook Reunion. People come in from all over to gather on Gunnison Beach to party together. Last year, there was a party on Friday night at someone's home where a low country boil was served up. Some of us went to a bar overlooking the water in Highlands. Saturday on the beach, Winston will be there running some games for prizes. There is also a three night stay given away. Saturday, there will be a party at the host hotel, the Holiday Inn Hazlet. Not sure if there was a small fee last year but they had food and asked people to bring a dish as well. It is also BYOB. There was also a DJ playing music all night.

The Holiday Inn is sold out for the weekend. The Best Western Hazlet may still have rooms. Call them at 732-888-2800 Tell them it is the H2 Jamaican Reunion 2016. They are about a mile away from the Holiday Inn. Rates there are as follows (if available): The rates are as following:

King Size Bed Thursday - $79.99 Friday - $97.99 Saturday $97.99
2 Double Beds - Thursday $87.99 Friday - $105.99 Saturday - $105.99

We've stayed at the Best Western many times on our visits to Sandy Hook including last weekend.

As for the party on the beach, there is a $15 daily parking fee. From the main gate, it is about a 3+ mile drive to G Lot. Arrive early or you will be forced to park in a lot further away from Gunnison Beach. Once there, it is over a quarter of a mile walk to the water's edge area. Most regulars who bring in a lot of things use a beach cart with large balloon wheels. Alcohol is allowed, just not in glass bottles. National Park Rangers do patrol the beach and have no problem walking you out naked in handcuffs for serious violations including public sex. It is a family beach and you more than likely will see children there.

How is Sandy Hook this year? I haven't had the chance to go so far. Was heading there tomorrow but it looks like weather is going to be terrible.

We were there on Saturday. Great crowd. It seems the currently changing tides and sand have moved low tide out pretty far. There is a new section of beach mat but it is not attached to the main stretch.

I just booked a room at the Best Western on Tuesday of this week and they had rooms.

I've been twice in the past. Once it rained Friday and Saturday and I was just so disappointed I left Sunday morning and of course it cleared up and everyone had a ball. We did have fun at the picnic areas on Saturday, but we were under the constant scrutiny of the Federal police. The next time I went was hurricane Sandy (I think) and we came back to our room and there were mandatory evacuation notices taped to our door. I think we beat it out of there the next morning and by the next day the hotel at Seabright no longer existed. We did have a wonderful day on the beach this time and the Saturday night party was really fun.

This year, the weather will be awesome, hot and sunny, clear and windless with unlimited visibility for sure.

We happen to be visiting Gunnison Beach with some friends that weekend. All 4 are active in the lifestyle and are also nudists. We would love to meet everyone and have a great time. Are the parties at the hotel private or open to other SLS members?

It is not an SLS or lifestyle event, per se. It is people hanging out together with old friends and making new friends. There is one official party at the host hotel on Saturday evening. One needs to sign up on the Facebook page so that they can get a proper head count for food. Now, what goes on before or after this gathering in people's rooms is another story.
