    Traveling to Jamaica with paraphernalia

Just curious about traveling in to Jamaica with things like grinders and pipes. Obviously they would be new un-used, but was curious if others have gone in with them before and if it is an issue or not?

We always take an unused one hitter with us, we just throw it in the wife's make up bag and never had an issue. We throw it away or give it to someone else before we leave. Don't think you'll have any issues, but don't try to bring them home once they have residue on them. If you don't want to take the risk they're readily available to buy down there.

It would be staying that is for sure. We just want to be prepared is all. There really is very little risk of anything more than them confiscating it if unused, but just wanted to see if anyone has ever had problems with it.

Good to know they are readily available down there though, not that it should surprise me

We have taken items and never had an issue. As others said make sure it's unused.

The gift shop has dozens of pipes, and there are grinders, papers, lighters, etc. Prices are good. No need to bring one if you are not comfortable. Easy access to what you need.

Isn't it technically illegal there? But the resort gift shop has everything you could possibly want? lol

It isn't illegal to sell a pipe or papers... You could be smoking tobacco! :-)

Don't take the chance of drawing attention to yourselves in case your bag is searched. The vendors that sell the wood carvings on the beach by the prude grill always have a good selections of pipes and grinders and you can negotiate a good price.

We are just hoping we can hop in the nude pool, rub up against some dick and be passed a joint.
