Dirty Banana Recipe

I am trying to duplicate the dirty banana recipe and just cannot get it right.

Here is the best I have done so far

2 oz Bailys
1 oz tia maria
1/2 oz vodka
2 oz half and half
1 banana
2 oz sugar water
ice

Does anyone have a better recipe. Thanks!

Ensure the banana is ripe; try substituting the 1/2 & 1/2 with full cream milk or whole cream; add a sprinkle of nutmeg and a splash of vanilla. The bananas we use in Jamaica are allowed to ripen a lot more than those sold overseas, so the flavour and texture is a lot different to your results...

I love mine with Appleton added to it. It makes it stronger and taste much better.

2 oz sugar water ONLY USE ENOUGH TO SWEETEN
ice

I would suggest Appleton White Rum.

It was my pleasure. It is something I enjoy doing to make a glow party really GLOW.
