    Running At The Resort

Has anyone ran outside of the resort? If not safe to run the road due to traffic has anyone ran around the resort early morning? I want to log some miles while there but hate running on a treadmill.

You can run down the beach, it's beautiful, but uneven, and of course where it's kinda even it's soft. You can run on Norman Manley Bvld, there is plenty of room on the side despite the crazy traffic, but that's going to be hot. If you can stand it run the beach.

    Cheers

I'd run the beach. It's not that soft, it's safer, and if you get to hot, it's easy to cool off. I wouldn't trust the drivers on Manley to much. We've stayed in the guest rooms close to the road, and at times it sounds like a drag strip.
I do walk the beach as much as I can, and never had any problems.

Echoing the sentiments of others...run on the beach if you can stand the canted surface. Much safer and the view is to die for. Sharon and I ran often all along Long Bay especially nice because it's the longer stretch of the two bays. There are occasional spots depending on the tide where you might have to venture into the weeds or road...but that isn't often.
