Running into people

So us newbies had a question. Have any of you ever gone to Hedo and ran into people you knew from back home?? It seems the Hubby and I are ALWAYS running into people we know when traveling and so we are just curious as to the odds of it also happening in Hedo. Haha

My feelings would be determined by who we ran into! Could be very good or very bad. lol

We had someone from our small town in Kentucky during our first trip. We didn't know them but still from our town. I've seen them a few times over years and it's so nice to be able to talk hedo with someone. This year a couple that I've met is going so it will be another time. Twice now for us. The biggest plus is if you see then back home you can talk about hedo with someone that understands...and that's pretty nice.

It has happened to us 3 times, not necessarily meeting someone you know, but meeting people you have mutual friends/acquaintances with back home. In one case I met a lady who was a teacher at the high school I attended as a student, we were there at the same time but I was not in her class

. I believe there is an unwritten code at Hedo and other nude resorts…like the Mafia Code of Omerta…thou shalt not rat anyone out!

It's never really happened to us but it happened to my parents. My mom is a retired teacher and ran into a student from about 20 years ago. At first she was mortified but then realized it was no big deal. Makes for a funny story though.

We have met people who were from the next town over... But never anyone from our town...and if we did....it's ok I think the secret of going to Hedo would be kept just that .... A secret, cause if they are telling on me..then they are telling on themselves...and with living in a small town with work and family and such, people normally keep it on the down low...just my two cents worth...lol...

We met some people from our city a couple of trips ago who we didn't know, we live in a fairly large city. Once they knew we were from the same place they made up all kinds of stories about being from somewhere else. They obviously didn't know how to handle it and they avoided us like the plague. We had no issues with it and found it hilarious.

The answer is a resounding YES. And why should it be an embarrassment to either of us? We have no sense of Guilt at being at Hedo (or any other resort). In fact, today, in a hot tub on a nude beach along the coast from Hedo, we met and discussed hedo with four or five couple who have been to Hedo and two who want 'more info, but want to visit ...'.

Hedo is not a place to be ashamed to visit. It's a place to enjoy and meet like-minded people (and some really weird ones too).

We shall return -- soon.

Big Ditto!Also depends on whether they are staying on site or are on a night pass for dinner and entertainment.

Oh not ashamed at all!!! We were just curious as to if it's common that's all. When we go to Vegas we always run into people at the topless pools and it's never an issue. Was just a question.

There is going to be a couple on-site from my town this year. I hope it doesn't bother them, I could care less. Personally I think it is kinda fun, everyone loves our town so it's just more people to talk about it.

We did meet a couple at H2 that lived in our old neighborhood (we had just moved a little further away a few months before) We didn't know them but ad mutual friends. Was cool.
