Really want to try this travel thing out...

Hi all.. First, there's a ton of great info here, thank you all for putting all down. Second, we'll try not to just ask question and then run off One thing we've found out is that some of the greatest folks/friends have been found at our local LS club.

So... We'd really like to take this show on the road and could really use a vacation. The Mrs is a bit shy but can be a bit of an exhibitionist, The Mr just likes to sit back and watch her and flirt with everyone he can. We’ve read a bunch on Hedo and are thinking of giving it a shot but we’re trying to figure out the best time to go. We’re 37 and 45 so don’t really fit into the “young swinger” thing and honestly never cared for the perfect body contests those can sometimes turn out to be, we just want to have fun. Anyway… what parties are good? What weeks are good? We were looking at maybe the 4th of July events maybe? We also noticed that August and September probably wouldn’t be best. We’d like to go when the crowd is fun and there’s plenty of folks to mingle with.

We’ll stop for now, as usual we assume we’ll meet and talk to some great folks here!
    Cheers!

Go to the Hedo.com events page and pick a group that might interest you or pick a date then see what group will be there during your time. Join a group of nice people before you go, get their discount and have 50-100 new friends almost immediately, what's not to like.

    Cheers

Whatever gave you that idea? We have enjoyed a number of Hedo trips in both August and September. Wonderful weather, lots of sun, an occasional thunderstorm (great for socializing), better prices, a less frenetic crowd, and wonderful people to meet. The ocean and pools are always warm (can be cold in Feb, March).

The 'young and beautiful (and full of themselves)' groups are absent. The more pleasure, fun, and, hedonistic groups are at the resort. And the place is great fun. I expect we'll be making another return trip in September. A great time for a Hedo vacation.

hedonism.com/events is where you will find all the groups. There really is no bad week at Hedo. You just have to find out what dates work out best for you and research the groups that will be there.

We read a write-up somewhere on here that those can be slow months, hurricane season.. etc... Of course now it would seem that's really not the case Which is awesome..

They are definitely slowER. After two years of going at New Years, I went in September last year. And I actually commented, I had forgotten what it was like --and there is something about a smaller crowd that is really nice. Honestly, as a newbie, you may not even notice!!

Everyone says that there is no bad week at Hedo and I like to think this is true but on the same note every week that we are home and not at hedo is a bad week LOL

There is never a bad time to go. We obviously prefer February because just when you are sick of the winter, it is great to go somewhere warm. Even before we became hosts, it was the perfect time for us. It is all about what you schedule will put you in. I don't think age is a big deal no matter when you go, but that is totally up to you. Our group has people of all ages, from the 20's into the 80's...all forms of hedonistic mindsets as well. You will have a blast no matter when you go though, that is how Hedo is. 2017 we will be there for Valentines Day so if you want to do something special on V-Day, look us up. Good luck and happy Hedo hunting.

We still highly recommend Nood Brood though, lots of wonderful friends!

September is a great time to go to Hedo. I've been there the past 4 years and the weather is about the same as late April early May. Don't be concerned about the Hurricanes, they rarely get too close to Jamaica. Remember, Negril is on the west end of the island and most hurricanes come in from the south east. No problem mon! There are several great groups in Sept. and Oct. As others advised, check the Hedo website and read the summary of the different groups. Find one that fits you then email the contact person and ask questions. They are always helpful people.
