    Access to Beach Swimming

We've finally decided to go to Desire Pearl this year. Pending my wife's vacation schedule, we are looking at mid June. We love the AN beach at Couples Negril and we swim often. We don't really spend time poolside and considering the high temperatures in June, we will likely spend a lot of time in the water. The occasional beach gawkers are moved along nicely by security at CN and never presented much of an inconvenience. Can I expect a similar situation at the beach at Pearl? This is my wife's only concern at this point considering the time of year and the larger public access beach.

I also read a review on another forum that mentioned brown murky beach water in June. Is this a common occurrence?
    Thank you,
    Nick

We have never found gawkers to be an issue and the staff does monitor it very closely. We have seen the water be very blue and very brown in June. Like most coastal areas it depends on rain and seaweed and both are difficult to predict. If you are planning on June consider traveling with the Hellians. They are a great group and you can join us on 6/14 when we renew are vows.

We just returned from our first Desire Pearl visit and the water was a brilliant blue color. The seaweed was being managed on a daily basis by the grounds crews and it wasn't a big problem at all. The beach is public and people do walk up and down the beach in front of the resort, but security keeps tabs on any gawkers. We did see some surprised families who weren't prepared for nudists being visible on their stroll, but everyone was respectful that we could see.
