I'm sorry I misspoke, you know a Canadian travel agencies (ex CastawaysTravel) which organizes groups for hedonism.
We're not from Canada (just south of the border) so we don't know all the details, but we do know some of our Canadian friends get the best rates booking through Canadian agencies (WestJet vacations for example). They aren't exactly travel groups per-say but Canadian based agencies that bundle air/hotel/etc.

Ooooooh, now I know where your coming from.
If your wanting to book a vacation to Hedo, then yes Air Canada vacations or Westjet vacations is your best bet right know.
Group rates in general are best when the Canadian dollar is closer to the US dollar, but right know that isn't good.
We recently cancelled our booking with Go Classy (and lost our $200.00 deposit) and booked with Westjet vacations because the rate was cheaper.
You can still "travel with a group" but, book with Westjet or AC vacations, and get a good deal. Most groups don't care how you get to H2 , only that you get there.

Case in point…
We booked with Westjet this week for a week in April at Hedo. They had a sale on and and we got one week including, air, hotel and transfers for $3,452 Cdn. I did the math and if we used our usual Travel Agent in the US, booking hotel, air and hotel transfers separately it would have cost around $4,800 Cdn. (largely due to the exchange rate). We like booking with US travel agents because of their no-bump policy, but for this trip it just wasn't worth it.

You will almost certainly find you can get a better price by booking a 'regular' trip with WestJet, Sunwing or one of the other tour operators through a Canadian T/A. And your ground transportation will be part of the deal.
That said: you can usually be part of a Group, by simply asking to be included (there may be a voluntary fee for goody bag etc.), but without booking through them. Remember: book with an Ontario T/A and you are covered by the usual travel screw up insurance. You have no protection if you use some on-line bookings or out of Province.
But remember not to tell everyone at Hedo what a low price you paid. That can really piss some people off -- big time.
What I do is find a good on-line price, print it off and take it to the local T/A (even the one in the mall) and ask them to match it. Sometimes they even do better!
Go enjoy.

Yeah we find the packaged vacations are so much cheaper than what we can get with Castaways, we tried a few years in a row and Castaways could not touch our rate, of course we have the best TA in the world as well :-) Only thing with packaged vacations at least from where we are from, depending on the airline there is only one departure a week, so you are stuck to those dates unless you want to fly out of Toronto and not direct, which adds a few bucks to the bill. This year we wanted to do 10 nights and celebrate our 10th anniversay so no direct flight for us. We actually are booked through Sunquest this year and flying with West jet. Prices include transfers as well

This is our sixth trip to Hedo and we have always spent a bit of time searching for the best price. This year we booked with Sunquest also. We found that was about the cheapest. We have tried a couple of times to book through a group but unfortunately have never found a good price. I did not know as someone said you could hook up with a group even though you did not book with them. That's interesting information. Actually over the years we have booked through Travelocity, Expedia, Air Canada as well as booking direct with the resort depending on the best price we could find.
We will be arriving September 10th and staying till the 16th
We have been booking through Fluffernutters for the last 3 years. This year with the dollar difference we are about $3400 canadian for just the resort for 2 of us for 8 days.
We book our flight with my visa points every year so we pretty much fly free. If we had to do flight included, then I think we too would book with a canadian travel agent, but it would make us so sad....the fluffs are one of the most awesome groups to go with...it would be a hard decision not to book with them, even for the cost savings
April 1-9th 2016 with Fluffernutters for Fluff Olympics
November 12-19 2016 With Fluffernutters for Fluff Love
Same here. We booked with Tabu & Fluffernutters over two weeks end Mar/Apr. When we booked last September it was only a little more expensive to book with these groups, but still worth the extra cost. In hindsight we would have saved quite a bit with Westjet and their pricedrop plan, not to mention the transfers were included. Until the exchange rates stabilize, looks like these will be our last trips with US based groups, Westjet is just so much cheaper.
