Private Transfer

We just got our May trip booked and have decided to use private ground transfer to take us to the resort and back to the Airport. Several here have mentioned Rocky's Taxi as a good source for this.

My question is how do I book it in advance? Can I book my return trip at the same time?

We are using rocky for the first time tomorrow! We booked both transfers online and will pay cash when we arrive. We will let you know how it went although we have heard Nothing but good reviews from other forum members.

Rocky's is great, we take them every year. If you get Wayne as a driver and you want to buy some wine or beer or need to do you phone just ask, he knows some great places to shop for these things.

Will keep that in mind. One more sleep to go! we're getting a nice little snow fall now. Soon will be on the warm beach

Rockys was amazing. Nice clean cars on time waiting for you and there is no rush. We will definitely use them again. Totally over the bus transfers, private taxi is the way to go for us.
Bothe drivers were friendly. We had Ziggy for the ride there and clinton on the way back. Clinton really knew Jamaican history and had a ton of knowledge about the island.

We had Clinton for both our trips, loved getting the history of the Island on the drive.

I think it was 140 total, 70 each way. And we tipped pretty well since clinton was such a great driver.

Hi everyone, here is another option. We booked Reggae Tours in October for a full day trip and had an awesome experience. Very clean well maintained vehicle (2009 Toyota Camry), driver ( we had Dave) was very friendly and informative about Jamaica while on our drive. We have pre booked Reggae Tours for airport transfer for our April trip and the rate is $60.00 one way or $110.00 round trip. We have never tried Rocky's so we are not saying that is a bad choice but from our personal experience Reggae Tours was amazing. We went through a spot check with the police so we know for certain that they are fully licensed as the driver had to show all documents to the officer. The officer was also very friendly and apologized for holding us up and told us to enjoy the rest of our trip after Dave gave him all licenses and insurance documents! Dave was dressed in dress pants, white shirt, vest and tie and very nice dress shoes. We really felt like we had a personal chauffer! LOL, he even went to Floyd's Pelican Bar with us dressed as he was so that we would feel safe!
