Painted Rocks

Since our first trip in 1999 we've wanted to have our own painted rock with our name. We always get busy having fun and never follow up on it. Yet despite 7 trips we've never followed up on the procedure. Can we just paint 1 at home & bring it to deposit it in an open space on our next visit 09/17/16 ?

Yes, we bring one every year. We do engraving on ours, so it will last forever, although it's not as colorful as painting.

we have trip #9 coming up and we still haven't done the painted rock... maybe this trip we will have one... but we do have a Brick in the walkway to the Piano Bar.... so that do count right???

We've only used it at hotel 2 times works awsome . But the door has to be strong . It straps over the door . Their awsome I encourage anybody to get one . .

We've never had a rock painted but we did splurge last year and added an engraved brick in the walkway by the Piano Bar.

I made one at home for us about 3 years ago. It is on the small side (about the size of a large potato) due to weight considerations in my suitcase.
I coated it with Varithane and so far it has stood up to the weather. I'll check it out in another week or so.

try taking a brick with you...lol... i think its around 7lbs.... thats what we did with the one we have in the walk way....

Hmmmm What about taking a rock back home with you? I wouldn't want customs asking if we have any painted rocks in our bags. A small rock like the size of a can of pepsi.

There is a guy on the beach right by where the nude beach starts who paints rocks for you for a pretty reasonable price.

Here is the one we bought in October.

We just got a brick to put in the sidewalk by the piano bar. Only 68 more days until we return home to see it!!!

Feel free to bring your own. The guy we found on the beach was very accomodating for $20.

Haha, answered the 'soil' question 'Y' once coming back into Canada, as we had a small jar of sand with a Sandals logo on it. Was 20 years ago, so was rather young lol. Got taken to secondary questioning due to that, and the agent just shook his head and asked how old was the guy that send us to secondary questioning lol.

We brought acrylic outdoor paint with us last year, brushes & stencils - Then one day during a rainstorm, a group of us gathered under the umbrellas at the nude pool & painted our own..even people we didn't know were coming up & asking to borrow the paint & brushes - it was a great ice breaker!
