Remembering names....... sometimes hard

To be perfectly honest,first time we met I clued in on your pale blue ball cap.Later on I noticed a hot lady in the piano bar(I think she caught me looking....) who had lots of luscious hair and thot,DAMN!,that's the young lady from Toronto!!(I do try to look the ladies in the eyes btw but I have astigmatism so it's hard to always focus and being so short does not help either!)

Same here with the recolection of that November night. AllI remember is my wife in her long white sheer dress dancing with this lovely friendly girl with wings on around the pool on glow night...............just a really nice rememberance.

Well actually Brian,I associate an old name I know and it's face to a new face.So when I see the new face the old familiar person whose first name I know is also Your first name.I know several Brian's,Pauls,Charlies etc.Get it?

Yeah that's how I do it...but mostly I ask my wife "who is that" before I say anything to a person again. She's good with names and room numbers.

I'm horrible with names! If I meet you naked and run into you clothed, I'm doubly screwed! I do remember hats, though. Especially hates with logos. I wear a bright blue under armor ball cap. Mostly so the husband can easily find me in a crowd. Under armor definitely stands up to the island heat, humidity and gunk.

When I was there in November, I met a couple while sitting on the beach. Two days later, the guy comes up to me in the pool with his mouth open, pointing his finger at me then telling me to wait and he will remember my name. With that, I start playing with my necklace that says Hedo Joe and I turn my head slightly so the side of hat with my embroidered name is facing him. He is still trying to remember my name. I had to point out the name on the necklace and hat before he got it. Deano, are you out there?

This likely proves my wife's theory.I told her that I wonder who all these people are at dinner that I have not seen all day or all week yet they show up at night but are never at the nude pool and certainly not on the C/O side.She says I just can't recognize them with their clothes on!To some extent that is true.The people I talk to and associate with frequently I can recognize and recall but all those other people at dinner,could be they really were at the beach and/or staying at the resort......
