Going to be in Jamaica at the end of January and the wife would like to stay at a new to us resort, not Hedo

Anybody recommend the next best resort in Jamaica? Price really isn't a concern.

No it is neither of those, it is very much a vanilla resort. But it is very nice we stayed there for a week and had a great time, sometimes vanilla trips can be OK too.

If you're looking for somewhere that's clothing optional you might want to consider one of the Couples resorts. Like Couples Sans Souci, Tower Island, or Couples Negril, all very nice resorts.

EDIT: The couples resorts actually have full nude beaches, not clothing optional.

Try Couples Negril...we are staying there in August 2016 and doing day/night passes to Hedo.

Couples Tower Isle was our first trip to a C/O resort. There is a little island a few hundred yards off the main beach (they have a boat that runs back and forth constantly - about a 30 second ride). To go to the island you have to be nude, so there's no gawker situation. They have a pool there with a bar and even serve meals. There are a bunch of nice beds/cabanas, and an old stone tower that you can go into.. (pda is frowned upon, but it was common knowledge that people were climbing to the top of the tower to hookup.) It's a really cool place and the closest we've found to having a similar atmosphere to Hedo... Important distinction though is that most people we met there were not swingers/lifestyle people - just people who enjoyed hanging out naked.

We really liked Couples Negril. Nude beach, but I don't know about life style friendly.

We have had two excellent trips to Couples Sans Souci -- good meals, lots of luxury, nice comfortable, large rooms, and a separate nude beach. Only downside to the trips was some poor weather, but that can happen everywhere. Highly recommended.

But the next trip is Hedo (trip #24?)

Bear in mind, if you like the crazy fun of Hedo, anywhere else you go will be a toned down version. As always the crowd makes the vacation, but the resort rules and security staff can dampen a fun crowd.
