    Planning a trip

My wife an I are considering a trip to Desire Cancun in April of 2016. Can anyone share the primary age groups and is April a good month to go?

We are doing Hedo in April I think, but we have been talking about a Desire trip too.

    Thank you for your responses.
We have never been to a resort such as this and do not want to feel out of place. What is the average age set for any of these type resorts?

Still up in the air as to where but have settled on the week of April 10th. Read Desire has a bug problem outside but the rest is exceptional. Read Hedo was out dated but nice. Not sure what to believe. Don't want to spend that much and not enjoy the stay.
Really want to let our hair down and have as much fun as possible. Love to dance, enjoy the sun and knock back a few

Never been to Desire but been to Hedo several times. A good friend who has visited both described it as this: Desire 4 star resort, 2 star party. Hedo 5 star party, 3 star resort. We have been hooked on Hedo since 2010. Really depends on what you are looking for in your vacation.

Hedo has recently been remodeled - the pictures look great! We were there in July - before a lot of the Major remodel (Dining room, Lobby & Clothing Optional Pool) was completed - however we did get to experience the nicely redone piano bar, bathrooms, Beach Grill, & Courtyard - quite a few rooms had been completed as well - but we were in a non-remodeled room & it was clean, beds were comfortable & really had no issues. We are going back in January & can't wait to see how far it's come in 6 months.

I have been to Desire once & Hedo a heck of a lot more (if that tells you anything...Lol). I personally found that Hedo was just more fun. We are in our 30's - however we have met people older & younger than us on every trip. It's like if you were to go to a shopping mall anywhere in the US & look at the people wandering around (aside from the kids), you will see the demographic of Hedo. It is also bigger than desire & thus the variety of people there is more diverse. What I love about Hedo, is that you can make it what you want. There are quiet areas, to spend romantic time alone with your significant other, or there are party areas for more social fun.

Whatever you choose - have a fantastic time!

    Cheers!

Looks as though we have some decisions to make. I have been reading detailed reviews from first timers at both resorts and sounds as though they are on the opposite ends of the spectrum. One appears totally wild and the other take it as you decide.
Hedo sounds like a total blast but never being to a resort such as this, the reviews make me self conscious and nervous.
