Booking Restaurant reservations

Good Morning ! How many days in advance can you book restaurant renovations? How difficult is it to get reservations?

They have to be booked in the morning for the day you want the reservation. They used to allow you to book them in advance but no longer.

Same day is the general rule, but like many things at Hedo it seems there are exceptions too. A couple times we were in line before the lady showed up for work at the activities desk. In both cases there were quite a few names on the reservation list (just a hand written list in a notebook they use) before the day even started. What the exceptions are I don't know, but if there is a time you really want or if you are booking for more than two, be there early.

(and you aren't supposed to reserve for more than four people so for bigger groups you have to coordinate more people in line first thing in the morning)

Yes that's true. We always have dinner with a few friends and you have to have the other couple talk to them for the same table/time. It's nice to have a dinner where you can just talk and cut up. We talked so long we had to leave for the next seating time lol.

Greased palms. At least that worked last April!

We were usually able to book a day in advance, but not much further than that.

I know that if you booked a premium room you are guaranteed a reservation for four each night to either of the restaurants. Perhaps the names written into the reservation book earlier than normal were for those guests? Then again we are from Chicago, probably the most corrupt city in the USA, so I would not be shocked to hear that people are throwing some money around or using their connections to get what they want.

Last week, I was not able to get a reservation. A staff member told me both restaurants were getting fully booked by 8:30am and that I would need to get to the desk early in the morning and wait in line to be successful. I guess I just didn't want it badly enough b/c I kept finding much better things to do with my mornings!

Odd, we just got back, booked and paid for premium room and could not get a reservation at either restaurants by 8:30 am. The food in the dining room has continued to get worse with each visit.

We just got back as well and were told by the hotel to be in the reservation line by 8:15 to make reservations. It SUCKED, SUCKED, SUCKED getting up that early, but one of us went to the reservation line (which doesn't open till 8:30) and one of us went to secure two beach chairs. We then met for breakfast and then went down to the beach. Even with the major suckage, it was still better than being at work!

Ok so it looks like it is not premium rooms that get the guaranteed reservations for four every night but premium jacuzzi suites. We really didn't take advantage of this last year but if anyone is gonna be there from march 16-26 2016 and can't get a reservation let us know. We will hook you up. Just look for us in the nude pool in the afternoon. We will be the couple drinking too much and having way too much fun.
