I'm going to jump out on this with our exception. Near the nude hot tub area after...say midnight...I escort my wife. If she goes to the restroom, I keep an eye on it. Just this past week there was a very creepy single guy who 1) sat in the gym ogling women and barely working out at all 2) didn't talk to anyone that we saw the entire week 3) was in the hot tub staring at women every day and night. We weren't scared of him per se but I'd rather err on the side of caution with someone as precious and important to me as my wife.

If that is your wife's concern, or your concern, then you clearly do not have any idea of what Hedo is all about. You both need to do a load of research about Hedo (start at this site) and consider: is this the place for your vacation? I think you completely misunderstand what Hedo and the guests at Hedo are all about. It's a vacation resort, not a pervert's sex club. A vacation resort where many people are naked, some may have sex, but where random sex assaults are NEVER tolerated.

Sorry you felt you needed to ask the question. It reflects very poorly on those of us who vacation at Hedo.

You know, PNK, that is a ridiculous comment you made. How in the holy hell is someone who has never been to hedo supposed to know exactly what Hedo is like? And telling people to do a boat load of research, starting with this site, is kind of what the OP is doing by asking questions, isn't he?!?!?! No one can research like I can. I am completely over the top with research. I read threads on this site almost daily for the year leading up to our trip and i still had questions, one of which a safety concern for my wife. I figured booze + nudity + sexual atmosphere= potential issues. Now, having gone i know I had no need to worry but when i asked questions here people were great and took the time to answer and help allay any fears we had. No matter how many threads you read you are still not going to fully understand Hedo until you go.

Lacdeloo, feel free to keep posting your questions. My experience is that responses like PNK's are the exception not the rule. And like others have said there are always weirdos anywhere you go but people really do respect each other there and watch out for each other. Also security might be in the background but based on what I saw while there they are paying attention to what is happening more than you might think.

Yeah, we felt the same way. Really nice to meet you both and run into you daily here, there and everywhere. We had a fantastic trip culminating in a Halloween for the ages. If it hadn't been for that damn morning departure, we wouldn't have gone to SLEEP at 3:30am. Yet somehow it was worth it!

We had a guy like this at the bar on our last trip. Looked like he was off his meds with the 1000 mile stare, never saying a word. Totally creeped out my wife, but as happy2us said, keep an eye on things from the git go. Mostly harmless, but just be aware there are some like this from time to time, which really doesn't represent the awesome majority of people who are there at any given time.

You said it perfectly you can find creeps at any resort so always be aware. With that said I have no issues with my wife walking alone at any time at the resort. Like any where you should always be cautious and aware of your surroundings. But we find Hedo safe for the ladies to roam the resort. And trust us when we say that there is no shortage of good hubby's or even single guys that would step up to help a women in an uncomfortable situation.

We understand your concerns completely. Being "mugged" and fondled by people she didn't know was without a doubt my wife's biggest fear. I think most women probably worry about that before their first trip. We asked a ton of questions and got very honest responses from posters on this site...some of them took a lot of time and actually private messaged us which really helped.
If my wife doesn't know you and you grope her tits or her ass, she gets pretty uncomfortable. However if she knows you well, she is cool with it.
To comment on the occasional creeper, I often wonder why the resort doesn't try to weed these people out. Creepers like the one described earlier really kill the mood...

I guess they don't know who the creepers are until they start being creepy, LOL. Singles and couples generally mix so well at Hedo that I wouldn't want to see them start weeding people out before hand. They are however very good at asking people to leave when needed. We have been six times and I've actually seen people escorted out twice, once a guy that was taking video in the nude pool area (his camera and memory card ended up in the pool), and another time was a guy that didn't know what no meant. It's good to see that they're very willing to take action when needed.

I would think that a gentleman does not EVER touch a lady without some sort of approval from both her and her partner beforehand regardless of how well they may otherwise be acquainted etc.But then what would I know?

You will find that after being there just one day you and your wife will have made enough friends that she will be well cared for anywhere. I would feel very sorry for the man who was aggressive with one of our wives. Although I have only been once I believe that all husbands there would look out for any other mans wife at any time. At least I know I would!

Last week near sunset a guy (think he was in shorts) standing near the nude beach property line,near the security desk taking pictures, mostly of the sunset but then I noticed the camera and him turned towards us. We immediately picked up, towel wrapped and I walked to the security guard to complain. This woman guard had the audacity to tell me she was watching him and he was only shooting the sunset and argued back. Wrong answer. I complained to the front desk. I don't know if they took any action but if this guard is any indication of a laxness of policy execution, we were less than impressed. Not the hugest deal in the world but I don't like it. I should have asked him directly to see the pics he took.

Same sunset at the other end of the prude beach away from the free spirited people, the guard should have sent him way way way in the other direction at first glance.........
