I'm sorry to hear that. I would suggest just forgetting it exists. It's fine. Lots of people abandon profiles for a variety of reasons.
if you needed to delete your posts, you can go back and edit them. But if someone quoted you, it's there.
Sounds like you don't have that sort of issue.
Very sorry for your loss. You can delete all the content and pictures individually and just have an empty profile if that helps.

I have been wondering the same thing for the same reason. My condolences Fyrfytr161.
Click on Settings (top right corner of every screen), and then Edit Profile under My Settings, delete all the text you have entered and then click on Save Changes. If you want you can also delete your profile picture by clicking on Edit Profile Picture (also under My Settings) and then clicking on Delete Current Image (under the picture).
