I know that HBR does not have a spa, but you can use the one next door. Do they have a sensual or a couples massage in the same vein as Desire has? Or anything close to it?
thank you

HBR has a beautiful spa on the road into the site. They do couples massage at the spa and on the beach. Nothing like Desire.
Would love to have a couples massage on the beach. Do you need to schedule before you arrive or is it safe to wait until you get there?
No need to schedule ahead of time, you just need to be walking past the Spa or relaxing on the beach and you will be politely approached to schedule a massage on the beach or in the spa. Some might find this annoying but actually is alot more handy than some resorts I've been to in Mexico and Cuba where I have wasted prime vacation time repeatedly knocking on the door of a spa with very limited hours or phoning the Spa and no one answering and ended up (during 2 week stay) never ending up with a massage appointment ....

oops was talking about Hedonism, Negril, Jamaica NOT Hidden Beach in Mexico. We have never been to Hidden Beach, although I would love to go the cost has always seemed prohibitive. I was hoping for a Desire style 'couples' massage just for me at Desire Pearl a few years ago but I guess I wasn't specific enough in my instructions to the gorgeous male masseur. I had to pursue my own 'happy ending' in the Spa hot tub .....
Hedo oddly enough, doesn't off the kind of massages we are talking about either.... too many amateurs offering this sort of thing I guess !!!

No need to schedule at HBR. They will come by and ask. Never had one but they come by at least once a day. So scheduling one will be simple.
They have two locations inside HBR that you can get a massage or you can use the Naay Spa at EDSS. There is one spot on the beach at the far south end of the resort (on the right as you face the water) that most people seemed to use. This is more secluded. OK, much more secluded as the other spot is basically in the palapa in the middle of the grass in front of the north wing of the resort (to the left as you face the water). This would be quite open and I have never seen anyone actually get a massage there although there is a table. They used to do massages on the top floor of the two story beach pallapa that they use for dinners, but I never saw the table set up up there last time.
The people from the spa will come around at least once a day and usually will give some pretty good discounts.
BTW: on Sunday from 5pm to 7pm you can use the facilities at the Naay Spa au naturale.
Zork, thank you for all the great information. We have booked with USA Transportation. We will definitely be getting a massage while we are there, as this trip is for my wife's 40th birthday and a massage is a must for her. Thanks again for all your input.
