Construction - play room

With the current construction, is the playroom still open behind the spa? what nights?

We have been to Hedo twice and heard of this room but didn't know where it was. Also do you just show up at a certain times or would we have to be invited?

It's available for all guests to use, just show up when it's open which I believe starts at 11pm. It's located in the spa but you enter from the back by the tennis courts.

Yes the door is way in the back. It's very inconspicuous. We were looking at it several times and still weren't sure that was the door!

Sometimes some groups "sponsor" a night and have themes and little decorations and other stuff in there. I think those are always open to everyone too but some might be private parties, I'm not sure. Most night's it's open to everyone.

We were told to look for where you would think a lawn mower would go. The Back doors really do look like a utility closet or something, but if you walk around the path back by the tennis courts you will find it. Right by the hot tub back there.

How does it compare to the play room at Desire Resort?

The playroom at Desire is permanently used for that purpose whereas Hedo sets up this one each night in the spa by placing mattresses out and setting the mood with low lighting. For that reason I would say that Desire's is better suited for the purpose but Hedo's does the job. It's kinda strange that the mattresses are just on the ground. Desire needs to do something about that awful porn they play.

Thanks, we will check it out during our next trip in Dec. For us the PR at Desire has been hit or miss but i know what u mean about the porn playing. We actually have enjoyed the beds at the hot tub area more.

One note, it USUALLY is designated "no singles," except on certain weeks (like LoveVoodoo fest).

Yes it is still open during the construction. Opens at 10:30pm.

To each his own but thats not a bad restriction. The one aspect of Desire Resort we like is that it's couples only.

We looked for the playroom and went around the back to the glass door near the hot tub, but it was locked. We could see matresses and tell there were people inside, but is that the right door? I don't recall the exact time we tried the door, but it was at a time the play room should have been open.

Not the glass door, you went too far. Plain white door, turn left after the courtyard mens bathroom. There is usually someone sitting outside by the door to control access.
