Just back and relaxing from our vacation. Awesome as always! Had a great time catching up and getting to know new people. Quick question to throw out; We met a couple there named Mark & Beth and had a great time with them. They live not that far from us in New England, but we never managed to get contact information from them. If you are out there, can you PM us your email address? Or if anyone knows them, can you send them a message and let them know to send Karl & Bridie a pm here. They are members on this forum. We'd love to get together with you in the non-Hedo season, lol.

We just returned home last night from and absolutely incredible trip. We were there from 12/4 until the 14th. Both my wife and I found the food to be very good, we never had a bad meal experience and had a variety of food each day and ate at both specialty restaurants at least once. Both were excellent. We thought all the improvements were excellent, the staff was more upbeat than ever, service at all the bars was excellent. One thing we noticed is that the pool tables by the casino are gone, supposedly being "redone", but really that is the only negative thing we experienced on our entire trip. Our room (not premium) was very clean and functional. Harry announced more improvements coming next year during the repeaters party and committed to improve the communication of these improvements well in advance for guest convenience. We are looking forward already to our next trip in May!! It was great to see so many folks from previous trips, and we also met some awesome new folks as well. He announced that the next big renovation will be the nude pool, bar and grill. He was not very specific, so the plans may not be final yet. He mentioned that they would probably do it during the slow times next year, and that they would communicate well in advance so that guests are aware before they book travel plans for that time frame, he also mentioned that they will offer discounts for those that do choose to come during that time.

Another improvement he mentioned is to the old prude grill area. They have already renovated the grill it is covered now, and done very nicely, they plan to use it for a Chop House or Steak House. Again, he was not very specific, so not sure if they plan to create another specialty restaurant or let it serve dual purposes and continue as a lunch spot and use it as a Chop House and another dinner alternative. So hopefully more to come as the details are finalized.

One other major improvement that I forgot is the Spa, it is being completely renovated now, so all massages are currently being done on the beach, and the gym is being used as the play room at night.

There were many smaller improvements going on the entire time we were there, such as painting, and cleaning, and tons of landscaping. The place never looked better. Hope this helps

Interesting, thanks for feedback. The chophouse was announced on the Hedo Community Forum a couple of days ago, they're having a contest to come up with a name for it. According to the post it will be opened in the "coming weeks". My guess would be it will be used as the prude grill during the day and then convert to chophouse for the evening.

I'd always heard that a prude pool renovation would be done before the nude pool so that they could use it as the nude pool while renovating that area. Not sure if Harry is talking about the same thing here or has different plans.

Harry was specifically talking about the nude pool. The timing was end of August-beginning of September and there was to be an announcement 6 months in advance, so that customers coming during that time frame would be well aware of the change. He also stated that during the nude pool renovations, the price for the resort would be deeply discounted (he mentioned as much as a 50% discount) to make up for the inconvenience of the nude pool being down.
