Cool Hi! Introduction and First Trip to Nudist Resort

    Hi!

We are a young couple (28m/32f) in a long term relationship who have visited many nudist beaches but will soon be visiting our first nudist resort (Cap D'agde). We aren't swingers but love the nudist lifestyle and are interested in any tips and meeting anyone else who has been there or is going there. We will be there starting on Aug 31st and staying until Sept 23rd, but we will be just outside of the main nudist area. We like having a few drinks, a good time, good food, and good company!

While I am not there now and won't be when you are there, I have been to Capd'Agde and stayed in Hotel Eve for its convenient location to some of the clubs and walking distance to the beach.

You will find some incredible shops there with unusual items for resorts that cater to nudists and of course, everywhere you go nudity will be the norm, not the exception from deli's and groceries to shops and restaurants----although don't be surprised by people in regular clothes either along with sexy costumes at night in or near the clubs.

A great place to eat on/by the beach is Le Calypso cafe.

It's France. In our experience, the french tend not to engage in conversation unless formally introduced (along with multiple hand shakes etc.) Also many Europeans travel with the whole extended family, and congregate on the beach with them all in a circle. you might feel a bit left out. Try to get involved with people who speak your language and are not so wrapped up with the family.

Nice place but it can feel lonely in such a crowd. Shopping nude is 'different'. Shopping for clothes without changing rooms -- people try on clothes right on the sidewalk -- is an experience not to be missed.

Be prepare to pay for (quite literally) everything. Though where to carry your cash can be a problem!

    Have fun
