Agree 100% with Papa Smurf, at Hedo the same time frame. According to Harry construction deadline is 9/24/15, absolute deadline 10/1/15. We were 2 doors down from Harry this trip. Many good, positive future construction plans in the near future. Jon Gross was our neighbor for a couple of nights also, same positive insight as from Harry. Can't wait for our return trip "Home".

Does anyone know when all the major construction projects are due to be finished.. this would include new project not yet started.. We went a couple of years ago when they where renovating the rooms. somewhat of a headsche but survivable.. we want to wait until all major renovations are done.

Don't know for sure but I think the renovations will continue on and off for several years. Harry has talked about the disco being done as well as the nude pool/hot tub area when the property line dispute is settled with Point Village.

Wow!I would like to know more about this property line issue.I always thought that the wall between Point Village and the nude pool/bar etc pretty well defined whose property was whose.Not so?Would be interesting to know what Jamaican law has for statutes of limitations on issues like these................

Well because you asked I went looking and it turns out it has been resolved, in Hedo's favour, so I stand corrected. You can read all the juicy details here, makes for some really light reading:

Basically as I understand it Hedo was squatting for many years on property that belonged to Point Village but the judge ruled in their favour on appeal because they had established fair use. If any lawyer types want to correct me please do so.

According to Sr management the current construction phase will be complete by 10/1/15. There are other renovation plans to upgrade the resort. All sound very positive and will be done in phases!!! Hedo just keeps getting better and better!!!!!

I think next up is the Nude pool and Bar. The bar is to be expanded and the pool repaired. But not for a while.

In a perfect world,Point Village would sell out en mass to the Hedo management but that is unlikely as it is my understanding that those properties are all individually owned and it is like herding cats to get those owners to agree on anything.Thanks for the information on the dispute.Glad it went the right way..........

Honestly having just returned Saturday don't let it stop you from going. It's not really that disruptive unless you really like hanging out in the main dining room area.
