Mountain Creek Grove

Greetings:

Anyone have any recent experience with Mountain Creek Grove in north Georgia? We live only about two hours away and thought it might be a good introduction to a free-spirited resort/retreat before we plan to spend a bundle on a place like Desire.

Also, we are brand new to this...not looking for "the lifestyle" but would love a place with a welcoming, sexy vibe where we could be uninhibited as a couple.

We just went to the Grove for a weekend last month. We had a great time. Prepare yourself...it's camping. Even the lodging on site are minimalist cabins and many of the attendees stay in tents. There are several couples that have retired there and live there year round. The pool is nice and they have a great hot tub. Each afternoon, they have a pretty competitive game of volleyball in the pool. You must be nude to use the pool area. All in all, the people we met were very friendly and the place had a welcoming vibe. Enjoy! It will be a nice warmup for a place like Hedo or Desire.

Thank you! Their cabins were unfortunately full this weekend so we'll have to try another time. We ended up with a cabin in the general area...we'll have a great time, just the two of us, but looking forward to getting a shot at the Grove and then beyond in the not-too-distant future.
