    Discretion and Privacy

GF posed a concern she wanted me to submit for your consideration. Working in a sensitive professional career, not necessarily nationwide recognition but lots of public interaction, she is hesitant about any nude resort where cameras are in use. Many threads here discuss members taking photos of other members on the water slide and hanging out by the pool and what concerns her are these photos headed off to the far flung reaches of the internet without her consent.

Additionally the tour boats I read about that cruise past loaded with tourists, some of whom have decent cameras could obtain photos which could come back and haunt her. So what's the story with guests who desire, discretion and privacy while trying to enjoy their vacation? This may be a deal breaker from visiting if this is even so much as a "low risk" possibility, the risk just isn't worth it.

Appreciate any guidance forum veterans can offer.

I'm certainly no Veteran, however there will always be some risk. If your life or hers will be devastatingly altered by a leaked photo, be it deliberate or harmless than you should take a pass. That being said, how sad it would be to look back on your life and know that you missed out on the things you love to be true to someone or some group of people that you have no emotional connection to. Career be damned if I will live life less full!

If she is that concerned and worried, do not go. Cameras are not allowed on the nude side of the resort but no one can stop people from taking pictures from the water. I will venture to guess, nah, I'm certain, that there are people that go to Hedo who have professional careers such as your GF that may be even more sensitive.

You might remind her that she can wear a hat,do something different with the hair, and put on some really big sunglasses so that identifiable proof would be doubtful from boaters and beach goers.

We are very professional and have no major worries about random pics. Regardless of what side of the resort you're on, the norm of Hedo etiquette is that you only take pics of those who you have explicit permission of, meaning tight focus on the subjects. As for cameras off of ships & such; is it a worry, yeah, I guess, kinda. Yes, there are telephoto lenses that can get a 'good' picture from half a mile or more away, but do most folks who go out on a tour boat bring expensive camera gear in hopes of getting shots of those naughty nudists? Personally, we don't think so, so we likewise don't spend cycles thinking about people taking pics of us.

My favorite picture is of my wife, nude on the beach at Hedo. She's looking out at the sea and her back is to the camera. Now, her long-distance sight isn't very good and she didn't realize that the boat she was looking at was a Sandals Cruise boat full of tourists, of course looking at her. Later on, at home drinking wine and looking at vacation pictures, we realized right there that any future career in politics was out at that moment. Another reason to be thankful.

Not necessarily. Given politics these days, anything goes. Could make her an even more popular candidate! Hell, we'd vote for her and don't even know her platform (heels?), policy (no bareback?) or office she'd run for. LOL

Rules are in place and guests are all very respectful of others - generally speaking - but if someone is bent on taking a pic they will find a way. Some with higher professional profiles have survived, even excelled!

Case in point Kate Duchess of Cambridge (not at Hedo)

Those (very few) Hedonists who are terrified that someone on a passing Sandals boat will actually be trying to get a full frontal photo of them in the water do the following: we turn our backs to the ocean and touch our toes. If anyone can recognize us from that position, then they most certainly are already very familiar with our most intimate body parts. Others simply wave and get a wave back from the boat.

If you live in the land of the free and are so much a public figure that you are bothered by a passing iPhone, then don't head to Hedo

Thank you for the perceived condescending reply. It sounded a bit judgemental based on the response, not sure if that was the intent since this was reportedly a non judgemental group of people.

Both I and my wife have taken and been in numerous pics at the time seemed harmless. Some even ended up on FB not nudes there but dang close. As far as those passers by we wave and smile I would hate someone 5hink I ain't happy in my skin. We both are in public places that could frown on our life's choices but as my wife said I am a nudist deal with it. We refuse to change what we love for someone else opinion of political correctness. ...just our 2 cents

Most people at hedo are very respectful and will not take pictures of others without permission. We have seen some people try to sneak pictures , We have also seen guys confronted and cameras thrown in the ocean because they were sneaking pictures, we also know of one guy that was kicked out of the resort is he had a video camera in his room. (pointed outside to record the nude pool area)

With that said, we are both professional and like privacy as well. However, if you go on the Internet you can find lots and lots of adult sites, do I think were attractive, yes, but there is a lot of attractive people in this world. We figure that the chances of somebody using our pictures is slim to none, they may look at them for their own perverted stuff but who cares. Plus, we are going to a resort that is legal so if the picture comes out we can just say so We went An adult vacation....
