Yep,I no longer feel claustrophobic on the nude side when nature calls..............Meanwhile,I hope the changes to the main dining room are not too extreme.Improvements are fine and we both liked what they did with the courtyard,just hope the dining room is still recognizable when its done.Hedo has a unique quaintness that is all it's own..............

The nude bathrooms are definitely a great improvement!!! Plus you can grab guys asses when you walk by the men's restroom! Lol The piano bar restrooms are gorgeous too! Fantastic place to cool down quickly! We are looking forward to seeing the next batch of renovations complete! Can't thank them enough for all the improvements to our home away from home!

Just stopping by to echo the praise for the improvements that have been made. The courtyard, piano bar/courtyard bathrooms, and nude side bathroom renovations have been awesome.

Well that is good news about the nude side wash rooms, and the noise from the pumps gone is great. We were there for lovevoodoo fest in November and there was talk about the reno but didn't hear if it had been done. Can't wait to get back and see all of this, hope I still recognize the place. We are looking for a different week to try just for a change. Have a great rest of the week all.

We hear late September/early October is shaping up to be a good time to visit. ;-)

We just returned from an 11 day stay last night, lots of things going on around the resort and more to come according to both Harry and John who were both on the property during much of our stay. Harry reported at the repeater party that the next major renovation will be the lobby and main dining room, sounds like a pretty big makeover. He noted that the work would be done this summer during the slower times, and they are working to finalize the contingency plans now, for taking care of guests during the construction. Current activity now includes a new jewelry store going in just past the new wine shop, new roof just installed on the casino and pool table area that was completed during our stay, the Prude side grill is being expanded now, it is currently open and operating seating is on the beach under a tent while the construction is going on. Lot's of other maintenance and improvement work going on all over the resort. We were very impressed with the progress since our last visit in December. Look forward to our next visit this coming December!

We are there in late September (our third trip in 12 months) and we have noticed many changes from our first visit to our second. Can't wait to see what else they've done. We convinced friends of ours to come who have just come back from Desire and of course they've heard about how "old and rundown" Hedo is, so it will be great to show them the ongoing improvements.

Newfie....we found the same from August of last year until march huge changes....hopefully some will be complete when we go again this august

So far all the renos we have seen were for the better. I'm excited to see the new nude side bathrooms though in just a few weeks.... Sounds like a huge improvement!

Early August the renovations will begin on the Lobby/Reception Area, then Moving quickly to the dining room. They are hoping to have it done before the Halloween Anniversary Party

Damn... Was hoping they'd have the dining room done before we got there. This sounds like they will be into the thick of renovations when we are there... Any idea on the plan for eating while the dining room is being worked on?
