We're new to the board but not new to Hedo having been to both II and III a couple of times in years past. We haven't been in quite some time but we're thinking about heading back in September. Any suggestions for returnees? We're sure some things are the same, but some have changed as well. Any groups recommended?
Our first trip was September last year during Burlesque Week. The resort was only about 30% full, but that has its own set of advantages. We really enjoyed it. We returned to a full resort in late February and didn't find the experience that much different (except it was so busy we couldn't even find a table during the Friday lobster night). We're heading back for our third trip in 12 months this coming September or October. I don't recall the week, but there are maybe four groups going the same week. We have never booked with a group, preferring to book resort and flight as a package directly from the airline, but if you go to the Hedo II website, there is a description for each group and what they are about. See if there's one that interests you and pop back on here to find previous posts/threads and reviews from people in that group or who may have been at the resort during a group week... And ask questions about the group. More likely than not there is a person on here from the group.

Thanks for the feedback and for the private messages from various folks. We do appreciate the response. We plan to continue monitoring this board and others a little bity longer before we make our decision. You've all been very helpful.

My wife and I will be there the 12-19. First trip for us and very excited. Seems so far away. We've really enjoyed our trips to Desire but thought we try something new.

We are going Sep 25 - Oct 2. There is a group called Dare to Bare All which is going from Sep 26-Oct 3. This is our first time too. We had been regular guets at GLN just across the driveway and finally got convinced that we should try Hedo especially after GLN is being closed.
We will be there August 28-September 6! Any time in Jamaica is a great time!
