want to travel to hedonism 2 (need advice)

me and the wife have been reading alot about hedonism trips and we are hooked on the idea . there are so many good things said about the people and staff .from all that i have seen there are several groups and events that come and go all year long , we are curious if there is a particular event or group to be with to get the full hedo experience . we just feel if we set up reservations and walked in that we might isolate ourselves and miss out on several things we could have partaken in . we of course want to plan carefully and want to have the time of our lives , which given to all the reviews shouldn't be a problem . i going to set this forum up to hope to get alot of questions about ourselves and what we are into to hopefully get the best out of everything

Hello! If you figure out your dates, or multiple options, you can then check the website for which groups are there. Each group is associated with a travel agent, which (as long as you meet the right duration and dates) will offer you the group rate. (Typically less than the hedo online rate)

Group types/themes can vary, but generally are just a group of people who started going the same week. Always room for more!

Our experience is that no matter how much you prepare for the first trip, you will realize how much you could have done differently. So, my advice is to just assume you will need to go more than once. Have fun while you are there the first time and make notes of what you'll do next time, and the time after that, and after that, lol.

If you really want to have a good time go when the resort is full and sold out. It cost a bit more to go during the peak periods but it is worth it. We've spent over 30 weeks there with several different groups at all different times of the year and the most fun times are always when the resort is full. The group really doesn't matter, except that you can sometimes get a better rate through them. But people aren't always booked through groups. Once you're there people don't care if you are booked with their group or not -- everyone just does everything together anyhow. Go when it's full -- Jan, Feb, Mar, a few weeks in July, last week of Oct and one week in Nov.

We've always gone in April and Butt crack tour has always been there when we are and so much fun. Kitten and Angel's group is the same time usually and they are great. We've never had a bad time. Really, how could it ever be a bad time naked in the sun with a drink and fun people

There are many amazing groups that go, you need to see what time of the year works best for you then look at who is going and make your decision on that.
Because there is NO bad time to go to Hedo, lol.

You are in a great dilemma because whatever decision you make will be right one when it comes to booking with a group at Hedo.

So many great groups and 12 months to choose from but I am of course very biased to June 20-27 when the Krewe de Krazy Life returns for Group Adventure #9 at Hedo, complete with their own bodypainter, personalized goodies, and KRAZY (fun and spontaneous) group leaders....

Everyone has their opinion on when the best time is, I think it varies based on what time of year, and so on. Find what time of year/what week you would like to go and hit it from there. We enjoy February because just when you start getting sick of winter, you're in Hedo. LOL. Good luck, have a great time!

I feel the 'best time' depends on you! If you guys are swingers, there are a few times during the year that is geared more towards swingers. We are going to be there with the hedo rockers along with the Krewe, that week will be a blast with all the different people! This is my favorite time because it's not too hot/cold, not too crowded/empty, and have met a lot of wonderful people through the years. It's the baby bear week! swingers, non-swingers, retired, younger, it's a melting pot!

We went on our very first visit back in 2011 and just booked it on our own. We didn't travel with any groups and didn't book it through any special travel agent. We just went straight through Superclubs when they were still the owners. In fact, we met MAGJOY on our very first day. It was quite an adjustment to set foot on the resort right before dinner and run into a dude wearing a yellow fish-net banana hammock with a dozen piercings in his junk! We adjusted to the atmosphere quickly enough. Next time, we'd like to latch on to a fun group. We'll have to do our research to find the right crowd.
