When is low season

I'd like to know when the best deals are available and what time of the year is low season?

Rates in the Caribbean generally drop around April 15th, and stay low until late fall, or Christmas.

Yes, the high season is 12/15 through 4/15. I don't think that the rates get any better toward the summer as Hedo stays pretty busy year round.

As a fellow Canadian, we find the best pricing for the resort on either Selloff vacations, Sunwing or Signature ( all the same company) The pricing is usually quite a bit less then elsewhere and way less than the resorts website.

Both Desire RM & Desire Pearl have the exact same three rate periods.

Winter Rates - January 1, 2 or 3 (depends on what day of the week it is for that year) through April 30
Summer Rates - May 1 through December 25
Holiday Rates - December 26 to January 1, 2 or 3 (see above)

The best time to book is usually Late February and March for the following year. This is when the new contracts come out and have the best promotions available. Desire has recently changed the promotion to a 4 night minimum to get the promotion.

Most of the big weekends (Valentines, Memorial, 4th of July and Labor Day) sell out 4 to 6 months in advance, so book early if thinking about those dates.
