Electric razors are the only thing that works for me. I use a Phillips Norelco Bodygroomer razor. Regular razors always give me terrible razor burn no matter what.

Wish I had looked here first, I thought I'd surprise my partner with a full shave but used some cheap razor and all the little bumps are there, what best way to care for these and get rid of them?

For future care just electric shaver then?

Highly recommend HeadBlade products. Their HeadSlick shaving cream is BY FAR the best on the market. Always important to use a quality shaving cream. Can be used on face, head, ANYWHERE you shave. To avoid the razor bumps and irritation, use their ClearHead post-shave treatment. Use a little twice a day and you won't have any problems. Can also be used anywhere you shave.
