Catamaran Cruise

Does anyone know what day they do the catamaran cruise from Hedo? Is there more than one per week? Does it go to Rick's or just some other cliffs? Only 54 days.

There are several, I believe Tuesdays, and Thursdays and Saturdays. Some to Ricks, some for snorkel and cave swimming

twice a week , once for the caves and snorkeling and once to Ricks café and back for the sunset

Tuesday's and Saturday's to the caves. Thursday's to ricks.

Like funsunlovers said, twice a weeks, there is a discount available if you book both. One is morning at 10:30 for snorkel/caves. SUnset leaves later in afternoon. They're about 3 hours. Yes the dreaded three hour cruise but no Skipper and Gilligan on this one.

Despite what the tour operator will tell you. Do not book the cruise until that day and then only if the weather is perfect. They will go out in foul weather and it is not fun. They will only cancel if the conditions are really dangerous.

When we went it was way over full, standing room only and very difficult to even get a drink.

Be very careful of the rum punch, they use overproof in it and it's sneaky. One year it was beautiful out when we left but, on the way home it poured and there was no shelter as everyone crowded under and we were left out in the downpour. Only time I was ever cold in Jamaica and I was freezing. We got back, sun came back out and it was "carry on", LOL

Yea same thing happened to us. The boat was packed and it started to rain. I've never been so cold!

Thanks for all the great advice. Get in on a Sunday so should be able to take a Tuesday. With only 5 days at Hedo, I hate to waste anytime away from the nude pool, but I think it'll be worth it. I took a catamaran a few years ago from couples swept away to the cliffs and it was a blast.
