    Customs

    Hello,

Hubby and I are headed to Jamaica in May! The 24th to the 30th! He is a crazy packer! He has ranger rolled all of our clothes and vacuum seal them in bags. He got two baskets of clothes into a carry on bag at 24lbs, but now he is talking about just checking the bag! Something about 311 rules. Said we have to much sun block and bug spray for carry on!
What should we expect when it comes to customs and immigrations? He wants to take his expensive canon dslr camera, now he tells me he needs a form to fill out and a copy of recipe to show he purchased it here or something like that! I dont understand him half the time! He is my husband so i didont have to understand him!

Might as well check luggage by time you get thru customs your luggage will be ready I would not bring expensive camera you will be worried about it the whole time around the water and theft.

He is bringing his point and shoot tough camer as well! But he likes the BIG LENS on his dslr camera, says he can really reach out and touch someone with that lens. I hate to tell him but its the only big thing he has!

We brought restraints, cuffs, a flogger, rope, a sex swing and many sex toys. The customs guy looked at our many bags and the resort listed on the declaration card, turned to my wife and asked what we had in them, the wife responded costumes and toys. He grinned and said have fun.

The only reason I can think they'd stop you is if they thought it was new and you were trying to resell it. Otherwise, I think you're over thinking it.

I love my dslr. But you're just hanging a target around your neck. Jamaica is a very beautiful, and very poor, country. I suggest your little point and shoot and call it a day.

For what it's worth, photography is restricted at H2. A long lens would be out of place. Yes there are places to take pictures, but security will be keeping an eye out for cameras in restricted areas.

Life is too short for drama and petty things, so kiss slowly,
laugh insanely, fuck like you're the star of a porn film, and forgive quickly.

I told him the same thing on bringing his dslr, but he loves his big lens. He is not much for landscapes. He like zooming in on stuff! I am sure he has not thought about it fitting in the safe!

Just a word of advice, if he walks around Hedo with an big ass SLR around his neck he will automatically alienate most guests. It will give him a "creep" label you don't want. Nobody at an nude resort wants to feel like they're being zoomed in on.

Just reread and realised you're not going to Hedo. You should let hubby make more of the decisions.

Take them! Should your bag get opened, they have seen it all!
