Best drinks at Hedo

I love to start day with a dirty banana. I drink lots of beer while there. Red Stripe isn't my favorite, but I can control myself with beer more than with liquor. I enjoy rum cream on ice as an after-dinner drink. IMHO, any drink is the best drink when you're naked at Hedo!

I'm with you on beer drinking, especially during the day. I love my vodka/water/ting but I drink them way too fast and if I do that during the day I end up getting too drunk too fast. Beer makes it easier for a fast drinker to pace.

Love starting the afternoon with a dirty banana.

Woo woo shots are really good but just don't go crazy ordering multiple rounds of them, tempting as it may be!

To avoid a hangover and headache I don't drink many sweet drinks. Appleton's VX and club soda is my favorite. Since this is vacation I like to splurge mid-afternoons and enjoy a Mud Slide. It's like an adult chocolate milkshake. Yummy!

My regular is Appleton VX & Coke. My alternate faves are dirty banana, rum cream on the rocks, Miami Vice & good ol' Red Stripe when I feel like something a little tamer and/or different.

Thanks. Red Stripe is okay, at least it's not anything terrible like Budwiser, Coors or Corona products.

Figured I would bump this thread to ask a question:

Does anyone know whether they have ginger beer at the bars at Hedo? One of my favorite drinks lately has been the dark n' stormy (ginger beer + dark rum + slice of lime). Would love to sip on a few while at my favorite place on Earth!

I know they have ginger ale, not sure about ginger beer.

Yeah, I know they have ginger ale because I've had quite a few crown and gingers there. I'm thinking if they have it it's gonna be bottled like Ting. If nothing else I'm hoping I can buy ginger beer at the gift shop, which Harry has announced is now going to be open till 5am!

All very good suggestions, some of them would leave me cocked by 2 or 3 pm. I hate warm beer, which it usually is after a minute or so in the vessels they serve it in, so I start chugging it before it gets that way, that usually doesn't turn out well .

So, one more suggestion, take a large insulated travel mug, 1 liter or so, have the bartender fill it with ice, then fill with beer. Beer stays colder, you get some hydration along with it, and your still standing at dinner time.
