In the beginning it is about half and half, naked to clothed...about 10-15 minutes in, there were a lot more naked people. It is much easier and um, cleaner (???) to go in naked....so many suds and so much water that clothing just gets in the way. It was a fucking blast though. Highly recommend it.

When the foam party is going can you still get to the bar in the disco or do they block it off?

We've worn water shoes in before, helps with the footing...also great for the Ocean to save yourself from nasty sea urchins. Also done the barefoot thing in the foam pit because we forgot the water shoes in the room and too lazy to go get them.

You can still get int he bar, they had a TON of towels down in the bar area so that you don't slip around and fall.

I don't know if they would let you wear water shoes in or not, we were made to take off our flip flops. Maybe water shoes would stay on better and they would allow it. It would be worth the try if they let you.

No problem, we just got back. I am working on my trip report. I should have taken notes because I am trying to "recover" some information from my memory. Things are a bit "fuzzy" for some reason.

While we are on the subject of water shoes.....I wonder if Mrs NN could wear hers in the nude pool and hot tub as she fell flat on her hip on the slippery pool deck while engaged in EC activities trying to win a few Hedo Bucks.Luckily she was so WASTED on tequila that she bounced up like a toddler but I sure don't want to take that chance again if we can avoid it.

A lady slipped and fell on the pool deck in the nude area when we were there in October and had to be carried away.

I tend to walk super carefully in that area because that's a fate I definitely want to avoid.

I don't think there would be a problem with water shoes, as long as the rest of you is naked, I know I wouldn't care.

2 years ago The wife fell getting out of the nude hot tub. She scraped her foot and ankle just enough to not be able to wear heels. Remember a big rule at Hedo... SLIPPERY WHEN WET!!!

Thanks guys,the reason I ask is because we already have a $20k elbow from where she slipped while mopping a few years ago.The pool deck where the EC's set up,from what I hear,gets moldy slime and slippery.They make epoxy coatings that are fairly inexpensive that would cure that or they could put down some rubber mats to walk on.
But the management or nobody else ever calls to ask for the little old man's opinion.......

The very competent Steve usually scrubs the pool deck in the mornings with bleach to kill the algae. Before he got to it one morning I slid a good ten feet on one foot and managed to stay upright. The surface is plenty rough, but that algae grows very fast and it's slippery.
