New Couple trying to decide where to go

Hello -- will check all these forums, but if anyone is inclined please weigh in on Hedonism vs the two Desire resorts. Thanks!!

We have been to Desire RM and to Hedo 2 and Hedo 3 (now closed) and I much prefer the atmosphere at Hedo. Desire was a great resort and the service was remarkable, but the people just weren't the same. Hedo people really make it what it is. And you can make Hedo whatever you want - a nice quiet romantic week or a full out do everything possible crazy time!! Or anything in between.

You'll read lots of different opinions here. We prefer Desire for the quality and amenities of the resort, service is also way better. But we prefer Hedo way more for the quality of the genuine people you'll find there.

I've done both Desire and Hedo since 2005 and can say that I prefer Hedo for several reasons and probably more as time goes on with all the improvements and new changes at Hedo.

I'm not a big resort room afficianado or foodie but I do want great people and service, no hassles or drama, nice beach, quiet spots, and nice pools. Hedo delivers this every time I've been (10 times).

Lots more opinions out there too.....

We haven't been to Desire, but we did go to Hidden Beach. It kind of depends on what kind of a vacation you are looking for. If you want to have a the vacation where you can totally let loose, be yourself and even be a little bit crazy (or a lot crazy) we would definitely advise Hedonism.
