Are there places where Jamaican dollars will be required or will all places accept American money? Is Canadian money accepted anywhere?
When at Hedo we know its AI but we arrive 2 days early and staying 2 days later at non AI resorts. We would like to know what is best to carry.

We always take US dollars. I have never tried using Canadian dollars but I think it would not be accepted in a lot of places.

We are from Canada and we take US
US dollars are good, Canadian - they do not know what to do with it. We take a large number of $1 bills, 5s, 10, and 20,s. Just a few larger for transfers.

I hear ha....we we're bend over at the bank paying for a family florida trip.....what we thought was a great price turned into what could have been another "HEDO" trip for the two of us for 2 weeks....what were we thinking....
Nudity....never seen it, but bits and pieces ...yes....
We were at HII in Jan and stayed up on the beach a few days before. We take $US. Right now it is about 115J to a US$. Most everywhere up there was only giving you 100J to the dollar. Not too big a deal, as we didn't buy much and just considered it the tip. You will only get JA$ back even if you pay in $US, so don't take overly large bills. We shy away from using our credit cards at the smaller places, and if we were staying up on the beach of an extended time I would consider going into town and getting some JA$. Just me though.
