    Marreros Key West

Wife and I are heading to Key West in February. Going to be staying at Marreros. Anyone stayed there? Is the pool open all night? We like to have a swim late night. How's the activity? All I can see is the standard trip advisor reviews.

    Have you gone yet?

The pool is open all night. Don't forget your room key after 6 though or you'll be locked out. Steve locks the back door at 6.

Marrero's is just a B&B although they do attract a LS contingent depending on the week. They have a happy hour at 5 which is a good time to meet the other guests. It really just depends on who is there at the same time though. We've ended going out with some and other weeks hardly talked to anyone. Marrero's is a great choice in Key West though. Enjoy!!!

jt0696, We are planning a trip to marrerros in March, and would love to hear how your trip went. Are pda or pds allowed?

Not really but you may be able to get away with some depending on who you are there with. You need to be respectful of the other guests. Marrero's is not a LS resort and does NOT encourage LS activities. It is a B&B with a clothing optional pool, nothing more, nothing less. Nudity is only allowed around the pool. There can be guests who won't even go to the pool because there is nudity, there can be guests who will wear their bathing suits and there will be guests who go nude. Generally the pool is nude though.

If you are alone or with like minded couples PDA/PDS's could happen as long as you are discrete. Sometimes things can get a little more risqué when coming back late at night from the bars. But again, it really depends on who is there with you.

fun4her Thanks for the information. In the afternoon is the pool shaded or is there plenty of sun if you want to tan? Also is there plenty of chairs around the pool?

There is not normally a chair issue since most people come and go but if all the guests were to be in the back there would be a chair issue. You cannot reserve the chairs with a towel. The pool is fairly small but nice. There is lots of sun for most of the day. It can get very warm so shade can be nice at times too.
