Newbies arriving Feb. 28th

This is our first trip to Hedo and have been lurking the forum for some time getting an idea of what we will encounter on our trip. The resort sounds awesome as we have been to Temptations on several occasions and enjoyed thoroughly. We are a vanilla couple at this point but are by far not closed minded. It seems that most people here are swingers in some fashion or another which is nothing wrong with it. Question is, will we be the only couple in the resort who are vanilla? We would like to meet fun people to hang out with and get to know but maybe not swing with. Is this possible?

With the sexually charged atmosphere who knows whether we will be vanilla or not when we leave Hedo as we do want to keep our options open and communication flowing while having a great time. We have a great marriage and don't want to ruin any of it.

Gabby you will be far from the only Vanilla couple there. In spite of what you have heard you will not be costed and dragged into a dark room......... unless of course you want to be

Not everyone that goes to Hedo are swingers. In fact, on any given week, I would say that it is close to 30-40% that may be in the swing lifestyle. Just go, keep an open mind and enjoy yourselves. Be friendly and you will become best friends with those you meet.

Our first trip was in September and we never felt uncomfortable.
Not all people who go to Hedo are swingers, some are just people who enjoy being nude or want a vacation where there aren't children underfoot. Our trip happened because it was the second cheapest alternative that turned up in an adult only resort search on air canada vacations for the time period we wanted, and I jumped in it in case it was a mistake.
We'll be drinking out of Canada glasses and have Canada tattoos on our shoulders so come find us if you need someone to hang out with. If I'm drinking Don Julio I can't gaurentee I'll be vanilla though

Gibby we went for our first time last year as a vanilla couple. For the most part we came home a vanilla couple except for some interesting interaction around the hot tub a night or two. Similar to Bill Clintons interaction with Monica :-) The environment at Hedo certainly opened our eyes to the alternative options. You'll have a great time regardless.

That's us. We are not swingers and enjoy Hedo so much. You will find that people that swing are some of the most fun people to be around....small things just doesn't bother them as much it seems. You will have a great time.

You define your vacation. No one else does. The real key is that you and the Mrs are on the same page in defining it.

Yep,I second what Brian said.We have friends on both sides of the aisle.It's not an issue for anybody.We are just Naughty Nudists having some good clean nekkid fun in the sun with all the beautiful people.Personally,I think everyone should experience it but am glad not everyone will or it would be standing room only and a long long wait for reservations!

By the way, there are currently three, maybe four groups, there that week - at least two of which are swinger groups. I suspect we'll all have a blast.
