To add to my original question... What is the hottest and or most fun costume night you've ever experienced?

We went to some other resort that had a "Nuttin' but Net" party going on.That was a fun theme!I'm surprised Hedo does not ever have that one.I would think toga is somewhat overdone by now.

I am sorry to say but I have always hated the toga theme and still do. I never did togas...always did some sort of Egyptian or more often warrior costume. Also now there are more sexy costumes to be found that match that theme. I haven't done a sheet since the first time I ever did toga at a Sandals resort and won't likely do it again.

I think themes should be less specific so that people can be more flexible about dressing for them. After 26 trips to Hedo (and God knows there are plenty of people with many more under their belt) how many school girl outfits can you have....and personally I don't like to wear the same thing year after year.

Then there is the problem for those who can't afford a bunch of outfits or aren't creative enough to make their own.

Just a suggestion but I think themes like colors (black and white) or sheer, glow and sparkle themes..... or general themes like "international" (toga, oriental, gypsy) or "uniform" (cops, nurses, doctors, pilot, stewardess) and western (cowboys/girls, country, Indians) are a bit more flexible and may draw more participation. Masqueparade has been nice because you can do anything just wear a mask.

Count us among those who do miss Toga night. I know a lot of people have tired of it but we've only been to one and the Mrs made custom, sexy togas so we haven't been able to use them again. Any costume that takes us very little luggage space is a good thing which is why we've always liked lingerie night and never got into Pirate Night.

I think MaryW has a raised a good point about theme nights allowing people to be creative. We've always like themes like "Fetish Night" or "White" themes because that allows us to be creative while reusing stuff from previous years.

For us, any theme that allows us to take a "less is more" approach is always fun.

What a novel idea...unstructured themes that allow real creativity and flexibility.
We are making our first trip to Hedo in 25 days and Mrs. K already has a suitcase full of costumes with no idea which ones will fit whatever theme is playing.
Also like the idea of an ABC night as Mrs. K has tons of beads and blink that she already wears to the Caliente disco
I wonder if anyone has ever passed this idea on to the Hedo owners?

nothing but net sounds good... wouldn't mind trying a TOGA night... ABC would be alot of fun... superheroes would also be fun.... our first trip was the 1st year after toga was out.... we did all the themes that year and it was fun... the next year we went the same themes was there and we did a couple... but after that we haven't did any... needs some new themes

That would be awesome! They had a foam party at our first visit in Jan 2012, and we loved it.

Also...what about a "From Dusk Till Dawn" theme night? Plenty possibilites from the Titty Twister...:-)
