Is the weather going to be crap?

We are going August 26 2015.
Will the weather be crap? Just read that it's the Hurricane season.....

Generally the likely hood of storms and rain is higher during that time of the season. Personally we've never been during the summer cause we generally wait for the snow and cold to hit us Canadian folks before heading down to paradise. But I always say a crappy day at hedo beats most days anywhere else!

The rainy months, also called the rainy season, are generally from the end of April, or early May, until the end of September or early October. During the rainy season it can rain during any part of the day but is most common in the late afternoon and early evening. The other months, also called the dry season, have much less rain and humidity. Of course you all know there is the chance of a storm during the hurricane season, which starts in June and peaks from August to early October.

The weather will be hot and humid, they usually always call for rain , which can be all day or just 15 minutes or not at all.

we are here at hedo now.... we had rain for 4 out of 7 days... late in the afternoon or early even... the rain would come and go within an hour or so.... but when it rains it rains....today was a great day until 4pm... then it started to rain and its 6pm now and its still raining but not very hard now... at 5pm it was coming down by the bucket full.... but we have had a blast... we would come again in Oct.

Not to worry about the weather - what happens happens. We have been to JAM in August and the weather was great -- some rain and lots of heat....

One of the best times we've had was in the hot tub while raining. So rain can be a good thing. Make the most of it.

We were there the 3rd week of August a couple years ago and the weather was fine for 5 days. Only had one afternoon storm and really nice weather the rest of the time. The only weather-related issue we had was a Hurricane Isaac. It veered north over Haiti so it didn't come close to Jamaica and we didn't even get rain from it, but they took all the boats out of the water and moved them to the river on the other side of the island as a precaution so all boat-related watersports were shut down for a day or so at the end of our trip. Not really that major of an issue as we did other things instead of snorkeling. I was expecting it to be hotter than it was, but it was perfect mid-80s with nice warm water.

That's what we did...last June it rained a few times but never for a whole day. Mostly toward the afternoon early evening. We took some amazing pictures in the garden area of the nude side during one.

We're going in a week and looking at the current forecast it's supposed to rain almost every day that we're there & rain a lot.

As the saying goes "Don't Let It Rain On Your Parade."....we will be there for July 4th and it really does rain on the parade...we don't care. It's fun!!!!...we just carry on.....

We were there last year and yes, there may be a bit of rain, but at least it is warm. We were told that it gets more humid at the end of August. But you're still in paradise, so don't worry about it.

If it rains, take the party into the grotto.

We just got home about a week ago and it rained every afternoon. But a rainy day in Jamaica is better than a sunny day at the office.

If it rains, so what? It's not like you have clothes on that will get ruined. Just don't dance on metal poles while there is lightning around. Twirl on flesh poles instead
