Just got back today.

Courtyard is done.

Piano bar bathrooms have also been redone and are really nice. In the men's room there's now 2 stalls and a urinal and 2 sinks. Wine bar looks amazing, just waiting to get air conditioning installed before they open it. I took some great pics of the courtyard at night and during the day which I'll be sharing here soon. What's the best image website for me to upload them on?

Great update. Thanks for the pics. Looks like a great area to hang out at we've been hoping they would use the space for awhile now.

The furniture and space in the new courtyard look inviting and beautiful. Great to have another social hang-out spot, especially during those hours when the hot tub is closed for cleaning. But astro-turf... Really? Why? It looks like a ground that could hide broken bits of glass etc. Or maybe it's not even astro-turf...

Definitely glad to have more social places to hang out at. At first we thought the AstroTurf was weird but really when u think about it it's probably one of the better options. Grass and heels don't mix well.

I agree about grass and heels but is AstroTurf much better than grass? Do you think it's a better option than stone, brick or polished concrete? I have no idea what their budget was and I'm guessing the choice was primarily based on $ allocated to that small piece of many renovations that have been done and will be done to the resort. Honestly, the point was more a curiosity than a criticism.

I like the astro turf idea because it will mean nobody has to make lots of noise maintaining it.

Yes there are pics - but they are waiting to open until they get the a/c installed and working. But you have to purchase the wine and speciality coffees, they are not included (at least that is what I have been told)

Fair point. Construction noise is even less sensual/relaxing/fun than the sound of a baby crying.

Oops, looks like they posted sideways for some reason. If you're on your phone just turn off screen rotation and turn it on its side. If on a pc save the image and rotate it in an image viewer program.

Well,if that is the case,then the coffee machine cuppucino and some Boone's farm will suffice in either case for those of us with simple tastes.........
